Crabapple Tree - Malus Butterball

Product ref: BR27429

Availability: Out of stock

Malus 'Butterball' is a delightful ornamental crabapple, prized for its heavy crop of small, buttery-yellow fruits that glow in autumn and persist into winter. In spring, it offers a profusion of fragrant, pale pink blossom, providing early nectar for bees. Its neatly shaped form and seasonal colour make it an excellent feature tree for gardens of all sizes, especially in wildlife-friendly or cottage-style settings. Butterball is hardy, low-maintenance, and disease-resistant. Prune lightly in late winter to maintain shape and remove any dead or damaged wood. Grow with Malus 'Evereste' or Rowan (Sorbus) for an extended display of blossom and berries.

Supplied as strong bare root trees.
