Malus John Downie - Crabapple Tree
Availability: Out of stock
The John Downie Crabapple is a strong, vigorous, medium-sized Malus tree. In spring, an abundance of pink buds opens into white flowers, making for an impressive display. This is followed by red fruits that cover the plant's crown and are offset against the delicate, narrow oval green leaves. Good autumn colour is also a feature of this Malus.
Â
Like all Crabapples, as long as the soil drains properly, they will grow in the full range of substrates and are also happy in all four aspects. Windy sites and partial shade are also not a problem to this plant; as well as being beautiful, it is also incredibly adapted to all garden conditions.

Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers.
