Crabapple Tree - Malus Rudolph - Circa 5ft

Product ref: FT27255

Availability: In stock

Malus ‘Rudolph’ is a stunning ornamental Crabapple Tree that delivers year-round garden interest. In spring, its deep pink buds open into masses of intense rosy-pink blossom, creating a spectacular display that attracts bees and other pollinators. Emerging bronze-purple foliage matures to rich green through summer, while small crab apples develop in autumn, adding seasonal colour and wildlife value. Its upright habit and manageable size make it ideal as a feature tree for gardens large and small.

This hardy, easy-to-grow tree pairs beautifully with flowering cherries, spring bulbs and ornamental grasses. Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil for the best flowering performance. Water regularly while establishing and applying a mulch in spring to retain moisture. Minimal pruning is required; simply removing damaged or crossing branches during winter dormancy will maintain its attractive shape.

Supplied in approx. 7-10 litre containers.
