This is a really striking plant with narrow, strap-like leaves. This Crocosmia produces incredible bright red, funnel-shaped flowers in late summer. It is a compact plant and versatile in how you can use it: plant it in a pot on its own, as part of a mixed border or in a container with other smaller plants. However you plant it, it will add a gorgeous splash of colour to your outdoor space. This is a deciduous plant so be ready for the leaves to drop off in the winter to make room for exciting new growth in the spring.

‘Red King’ is versatile and will grow happily in any soil type as long as it is well-drained and kept moist. It will thrive in full sun and will also grow well in partial shade in a sheltered or exposed garden.
