Dahlia Decorative Bluetiful
Availability: In stock
Dahlia ‘Bluetiful’ produces large, fully double decorative blooms in rich lavender-pink tones with soft violet undertones, creating a lush and eye-catching display from midsummer until the first frosts. The broad, layered petals form beautifully full flower heads that stand proudly on strong stems above healthy green foliage. Its impressive blooms make it an excellent choice for borders, cottage gardens, and cutting gardens, where the flowers also perform exceptionally well in bouquets thanks to their size and long vase life.
Plant tubers in groups of 3–5 to create a full and balanced display, spacing them around 45–60cm apart and planting approximately 10–15cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a sunny, sheltered position where plants can receive plenty of light to encourage vigorous growth and abundant flowering. Dahlia ‘Bluetiful’ pairs beautifully with other summer bulbs such as gladiolus, lilies, crocosmia, and alliums, while companions like begonias and nerines add further layers of seasonal interest and colour, helping to create a rich, long-lasting summer border.
Supplied as a bare root tuber.
