Dahlia ‘Aiyana’ is a striking fimbriated dahlia with dramatic, fringed petals that give each bloom a wonderfully textured, almost feathery appearance. The flowers combine rich coral-red tones with warm peach and soft golden highlights toward the centre, creating a glowing effect in the garden. These large, eye-catching blooms appear from midsummer through to the first frosts and are held on sturdy stems above lush foliage. Their unusual form makes them ideal for borders, statement planting, and cutting gardens where they add both structure and bold seasonal colour.
Plant tubers in groups of 3–5 for the best visual impact, spacing them approximately 45–60cm apart and planting around 10–15cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a sunny, sheltered position to encourage strong growth and abundant flowering. Dahlia ‘Aiyana’ pairs beautifully with other summer-flowering bulbs such as gladiolus, lilies and begonias, which help extend the display and create a rich, layered planting scheme with contrasting shapes and textures.
