The visually arresting perennial Dianthus which gives garden designs a distinctive textural aspect. This type is distinguished by its vivid blossoms, which add a pleasant, subtle scent along with a rich splash of colour. It adds value to borders, rock gardens, and container displays, blooming from late spring to midsummer.
Grows best in full sun and likes slightly alkaline, well-drained soil. It needs regular watering to maintain strong leaves and vibrant flowers, especially during dry spells. Its vigour and flowering potential can be increased by giving it a little feeding at the start of the growing season.
