Dwarf Rhododendron Blue Tit
Availability: Out of stock
Rhododendrons are beautiful evergreens that thrive in moist humus rich soil in a semi-shady position, for this reason they can often be found growing at the edge of woodlands.'Blue Tit' is a compact, dwarf variety, growing to a maximum of about a metre in 10 years. It produces clusters of smokey violet-blue flowers in April and May.
Being evergreen and somewhat architectural in form, despite its relatively small size, it works well on banks and in raised beds, but is also suitable for containers and rock gardens. Rhododendron 'Blue Tit,' like other varieties, prefers semi-shade but will also grow well in full sun. Supplied as pictured, in bud/flower in season, absolutely stunning plants in approx 2-3 litre containers.
