Echinacea Primadonna 'Deep Rose'
Availability: In stock
Echinacea 'Primadonna Deep Rose' is a stunning perennial that produces large, daisy-like blooms in rich, deep rose-pink shades, each surrounding a prominent copper-orange cone. Flowering from midsummer well into autumn, the vibrant blooms create a colourful display that adds height, structure, and long-lasting interest to borders and wildlife-friendly gardens. The flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, while the seed heads provide additional interest later in the season.
This easy-to-grow variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for cottage gardens, prairie-style planting, and mixed perennial borders. It combines beautifully with rudbeckia, verbena and salvia plants. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage further blooming, or leave some seed heads in place for autumn and winter interest. Water during prolonged dry periods while plants are establishing, and apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to promote vigorous growth. Cut stems back in late winter or early spring before new shoots emerge.
Echinacea are valued for their exceptional garden performance, long flowering season, and ability to provide colour and wildlife interest year after year.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
