Echinacea Primadonna 'White'
Availability: In stock
Echinacea 'Primadonna White' is an elegant perennial that produces large, pure white daisy-like flowers with prominent greenish-bronze central cones. Blooming continuously from midsummer through to early autumn, the pristine flowers bring brightness and sophistication to borders, cottage gardens, and wildlife-friendly planting schemes. The nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, while the distinctive seed heads provide valuable interest well into winter.
This easy-to-grow variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for cottage gardens, prairie-style planting, and mixed perennial borders. It combines beautifully with rudbeckia, verbena and salvia plants. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage further blooming, or leave some seed heads in place for autumn and winter interest. Water during prolonged dry periods while plants are establishing, and apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to promote vigorous growth. Cut stems back in late winter or early spring before new shoots emerge.
Echinacea are valued for their exceptional garden performance, long flowering season, and ability to provide colour and wildlife interest year after year.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
