Echinacea purpurea Magnus - Compact Purple Cone Flower

Echinacea Magnus is a fantastic compact dwarf form of purple cone flower, the best that we have seen.

Large, deep pink daisies with a central brown cone are produced on strong stems through late summer and early autumn. They are sweetly scented and attractive to bees, butterflies and other insects. The tight clumps are adorned, starting in early summer, with 24'' tall flower spikes of large, fragrant, rosy-pink flower heads perfect for the front of the border. Cone Flowers are an easy to grow hardy plant, which look fantastic in cottage garden borders. Echinacea 'Magnus' is particularly special, as the plants are compact and become smothered in flowers!
