Echinacea simulata
Availability: Out of stock
Also called the Wavyleaf Purple Coneflower, Echinacea 'Simulata' is a native perennial that is resilient and offers a rustic, organic beauty to any garden. From June to early autumn, this species attracts a wide variety of pollinators with its enormous, conspicuous centre cone-shaped blooms, which range in colour from pale pink to lavender. The flowers appear laid-back and welcoming due to the petals' mild rebound. Its normal growth range is 90–120 cm, so it can be planted in the middle of borders or included in naturalistic or prairie-style gardens.
Plant 'Simulata' in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Once established, it can withstand drought, which makes it a low-maintenance option for environmentally friendly landscaping. For a colourful combination, use it with other prairie plants like rudbeckia and grasses.
