Discover the captivating elegance of Ficus ‘Noir de Caromb’, a stunning addition to any garden. This French variety of fig tree is much loved for its dark-purple black fruits that have stunning sweet red flesh when opened, the perfect late summer hit of flavour and colour in your garden. These figs are great to eat fresh, or for baking and preserves. ‘Noir de Caromb’ has a compact habit and amazing foliage with bright green leaves displaying grey tinted undersides which perfectly compliments the silvery-grey stem. The combination of colours from the foliage, fruit, and branches make this fig well-suited for ornamental planting as well as crop planting.

Complement this Fig with other Mediterranean plants like lavender and rosemary to create a sensory rich garden oasis. Make sure to place this fig full sun although it will tolerate partial shade. It prefers moist but well drained soil and can tolerate poor soils. Shelter from cold winter winds.
