Picea pungens 'Iseli Fastigiate' - Colorado Blue Spruce

This is a blue silvery coniferous tree, and a favourite here, the blue spruces are some of the most handsome.  Iseli Fastigiate is a dense columnar cultivar that is most noted for the excellent silvery-blue color of its needles. Slow growing only getting to 3 metres or so in 10 years, it will ultimately make a tree of at least 10m (30ft) tall and 3m (10ft) wide, though its compact habit makes it a popular Christmas tree.

It will grow in most garden situations and is not particularly fussy as to soil type, however will grow best in moist humus rich soils.
