Pair of Luscious CHERRY Trees - Prunus avium Sunburst & Stella

Product ref: BR21381

Availability: Out of stock

These sweet fruiting cherry trees produce excellent quality cherries with a deep red, almost black colour. Beautiful blossoms appear in spring, with fruits following in summer, growing the two varieties will provide an overlapping cropping period, meaning more cherries for longer, plus although self-fertile, you'll always get a better crop with a partner around.

Full sun in a south-facing position is desirable for growing fruit and will encourage a more abundant crop, but other positions will also be fine.Supplied well established, these trees are bare root trees, up to 150cms tall on delivery, very strong and sturdy and ready to branch and fruit.

Sunburst

Love this site, I've bought quite a lot this year and all plants have been healthy. My sunburst cherry tree looks great. My Stella has loads of leaves and is thriving too so far although my sunburst is not quite as big yet. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping when next spring arrives it will catch up with Stella! Over all you get top marks from me.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.
