Metasequoia glyptostroboides - Dawn Redwood - Circa 120cms tall

Dawn Redwood is a gorgeous, fast-growing conifer with bright green leaves. The leaves are made up of soft leaflets growing opposite each other, giving the illusion of feathers. This is a deciduous tree, which is rare for a conifer; the leaves will turn an autumnal brown before dropping, making way for the gorgeous new growth in the spring.

This tree will grow happily in any type of soil that is moist but well-drained. It will enjoy full sun in an exposed or sheltered position. It is not known for having pests or diseases and does not require any pruning.

Supplied in approx 5 litre containers at around 120cms tall.
