Juniperus squamata ‘Blue Star’ is a beautifully compact evergreen conifer, admired for its dense, starry foliage and cool blue-silver colouring that brings structure and calm to the garden year-round. Its finely textured needles form a naturally neat mound, creating a strong visual anchor in borders, rock gardens and containers. The colour remains consistently rich through the seasons, offering a refined contrast to softer planting and making it an excellent choice for contemporary or minimalist designs.

This juniper thrives in a sunny position and prefers free-draining soil, performing particularly well in gravel gardens, raised beds or pots where drainage is assured.
