Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Karl Foerster' - Feather Reed Grass
Availability: In stock
A unique architectural grass, Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Karl Foerster' forms tall, upright clumps of green foliage topped with airy pink-bronze flowerheads during summer. These elegant plumes slowly change to a rich wheat colour, persisting well into winter to provide lasting structure and seasonal interest.
Ideal as a specimen or planted in groups, it looks particularly effective near buildings or in contemporary borders. Plant in full sun in moist, humus-rich soil and cut back in late winter to encourage fresh growth.
Larger, well-established plants supplied in approx. 5 litre containers.
