Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Honey' - Fountain Grass
Availability: Out of stock
Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Honey' is a superb dwarf version the popular 'Little Bunny', it is very similar, except each leaf blade has a very narrow white edge, giving the plant a lighter, brighter look, making it a useful accent plant in mixed borders, rock gardens or containers. In late summer, palest pink bottlebrush-like plumes emerge above the foliage. Ornamental grasses such as this are fantastic as a contrast against other perennials, introducing movement and softening hard landscaping. Being so versatile they can be planted in borders and containers, and are perfect for sensory gardens. The long lasting green and white variegated foliage turns yellow-orange in autumn. Will grow well in full sun or partial shade. Supplied in approx 2 litre containers.
