Lysimachia clethroides
Availability: In stock
Lysimachia clethroides is a clump-forming perennial renowned for its distinctive arching flower spikes that resemble the graceful curve of a goose's neck. From midsummer into early autumn, wands of tiny, star-shaped white flowers rise above lush foliage, bringing height and texture to borders. Rich in nectar, the blooms are highly attractive to pollinators, an excellent choice for wildlife and naturalistic planting schemes.
Easy to grow and reliable, this gooseneck thrives in full sun or partial shade in wet soil and is well suited to pond margins, woodland gardens and generally damp borders. It spreads steadily to form impressive colonies, so allow space or contain where necessary. Cut the stem back after flowering or in late autumn to encourage fresh growth the next spring.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
