Eryngium Agavifolium - Eryingium agavifolium

Product ref: P10032

Availability: Out of stock

Thriving in our heavy Essex Clay, this plant is said to need a hot, dry site. It's texturally terrific plant and bears a close resemblance to an agave, though it is easier to grow, and the spiny prickles lining its sword-like leaves are soft and less likely to do damage to the gardener. The foliage forms a shiny, bright green rosette, crowned in early summer with branched stems of bracted blossoms in subtle shades of sage-green. The flowers are interesting; the foliage is fantastic! Best in groups. Supplied in approx 3 litre containers.
