Gentiana scabra Alba - White Gentian

This beautiful low growing herbaceous perennial plant has the purest white flowers of virtually any plant we know.

Reaching a maximum of around 15-20cms tall, the large upward looking funnel shaped flowers that will cover the whole plant. These are much larger in proportion to the size of the plant than you might expect and make a fabulous display.

Hailing from cool mountain alpine regions, it will prosper here in the UK too, just keep an eye on the watering in hot dry weather and it will reward you with the beautiful blooms in late Summer and early Autumn.

It's perfect for positioning in groups at the front of the border, in patio planters or use dotted around alpine beds and rockeries too. Supplied in approx 9cm - 12cm pots.
