Kniphofia citrina - Red Hot Poker

Slender spikes of golden yellow flowers from August to September above clumps of grass-like leaves. These tall torch-like flowers are ideal for providing vertical interest in a sunny mixed or herbaceous border. Performing best in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, it associates well with ornamental grasses and late-summer flowering perennials. Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
