Philadelphus coronarius aurea - Golden Mock Orange

A deciduous, shrub with bright yellow leaves that become greenish yellow as they mature, which produces scented creamy white flowers during June and July. The delicate, orange-blossom fragrance floats on the breeze on warm summer evenings. This compact variety is an essential, low-maintenance shrub for a sunny mixed border, and it can also cope with poor soil, urban pollution and salt-laden air. Particularly suitable for very dry soils.
