Large 5-6ft Specimen Climbing Rose - Crimson Glory

Lives completely up to its name with striking large deep crimson blooms that have a heady fragrance to fill the garden air in early summer. This is a real classic climbing old Rose reaching four metres in height and will grow perfectly on a wall or fence. Like all old Roses they are tough characters unbothered by pests and capable of tolerating all soil types. To get the best out of ‘Crimson Glory’ plant at southernly aspects and train six or seven strong stems on to vine eyes and wires in late winter as plant growth progresses. Dead heading this Rose may encourage a second flush of flowers later in the summer. To maintain this plants health a thick top dress of organic matter in early spring is recommended.
