Santolina Virens 'Lemon Fizz' - Cotton Lavender

'Lemon Fizz' is a superb variety of the popular Santolina shrub. This small evergreen has ferny, needle-like leaves which are a striking shade of yellow-green. Manly grown for it's dazzling foliage this plant is sure to brighten any shady dull looking spot. As Summer approaches, small, creamy-yellow button flowers appear above the mass of yellowy foliage. A hardy plant that will only reach 30cm high with a 40cm spread at maturity, making this low growing shrub an ideal gap-filler for any summer border or ground cover for a larger area. Once established, Santolina becomes drought-tolerant so is perfect for the dryer garden. Also looks fantastic in a pot for the patio or balcony.
