This fabulous summer-flowering shrub is guaranteed to create an impact in a sunny border. Pruned hard in early spring it produces dense spikes of fragrant, dark purple flowers, which attract butterflies and other beneficial insects into the garden. In autumn the pointed grey-green leaves turn butter-yellow.

Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.

Butterfly bush

I love my Buddleia davidii, I think this is the best colour of all the Buddleia plants. Everyone garden should have one. Within minutes of unpacking my plant it had a butterfly on it.

A lovely plant

The plant arrived in good condition, the top was a little bent to fit the box but has straightened out. The deep purple is lovely and I can’t wait for it to grow over the years.
