The umbrella pine is a stunning evergreen conifer that will add some year-round greenery to your garden. It is slow growing and takes 20 years to reach its full height of 12 metres, meaning you can get years of satisfaction watching your tree grow and thrive. In the autumn your tree will be covered in pinecones for some added interest; they give gardens a very whimsical feel.
This tree will thrive in any soil type except for chalk as long as it is well-drained and kept moist. It enjoys plenty of sunlight and will also grow in partial shade. This is a versatile plant in that it will grow in a garden facing any direction.
Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre nursery containers.
