Cotinus coggygria Grace - Smoke Bush

All the smoke bushes are shapely rounded shrubs or small trees, and are popular plants for their summer interest and autumn colour. This variety has mid-green leaves, turning vivid colours before falling in autumn. In summer it is covered with a smoky haze of soft open flower plumes, giving it a smoke-like appearance. It has been given an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society, which is for plants of outstanding excellence. Pictured in summer with smoke like plumes, and in autumn with foliage glowing like red hot embers. Supplied in approx 4-5 litre containers.
