Enkianthus campanulatus - Red Vein

Enkianthus shrubs are a very easy to grow and trouble free plant, and do particularly well on acid soils. Producing masses of bell-shaped flowers mid-spring to early summer is one of the attractions, however, in autumn they'll also surprise you with fiery foliage - they are well worth growing for this alone. Perfect for the back or a mixed border, they are also an ideal choice for a shady spot or woodland garden.
