Ilex Verticillata - Winter Berry Holly - covered in Berries

Unlike many Holly varieties, Ilex Verticillata loses its leaves during winter, exposing masses of bright red berries on its stems.

Throughout winter this shrub will provide a bright shock of colour when everything else has started to fade. Not only does it look great in the garden, but it's perfect for cutting and bringing in for decoration or home-made bouquets in the home. Throughout spring and summer this variety has a dense habit and bright green leaves and is ideal for adding structure to beds and borders.

Easy to grow and low maintenance. This variety has an eventual height of up to approximately 2-3m over time.

Supplied as a well-established plant in an approx. 5 litre containers at around 80-90cms tall and covered in bright red berries in season, ready to plant out.
