Hebe Wild Blue - Variegated Hebe
Availability: Out of stock
This really is one of the most fantastic small, evergreen, shrubby Hebe plants, with attractive green and cream foliage and small purple flowers throughout summer and autumn. Hebe 'Wild Blue' is often found in beds and borders; it can also prove an excellent addition to a container, especially in the autumn and winter period, where its hardiness will provide welcome interest. Try in your planters, used on its own for impact, or to add height to a mixed display of other plants.
In garden beds and borders, plant in groups to create more impact. 'Wild Blue' thrives in full sun or partial shade and well-drained soil. Once established, it is reaosnably rought tolerant, however, container-grown plants should be watered regularly during dry weather. Avoid waterlogged conditions, especially in winter, and choose a sheltered position away from severe cold winds. The plants also look excellent underplanting standard trees such as our Salix Flamingo Trees; we like to use three below each tree in a classy-looking planter to create added interest.
Bushy plants in approx 5 litre containers.
