Sunflower Sonja, a compact, branching variety that produces an abundance of warm, golden-orange flowers with dark centres, will add cheery appeal to your garden. Sonja, which grows to a height of 90 to 120 cm, is ideal for pots, cutting gardens, and borders. It is a favourite for floral arrangements due to its robust stems and small flower heads, which also attract butterflies and bees.

Plant on fertile, well-drained soil in full sunlight. To prolong the blooming season, deadhead and water regularly. Excellent in mixed plantings; combine with Calendula, Scabiosa, or Cosmos for a colourful, wildlife-friendly arrangement that is bursting with texture and colour.
