Hemerocallis Crimson Pirate

The beautiful daylily Hemerocallis 'Crimson Pirate' is well-known for its vivid and brilliant flowers. This species is distinguished by its enormous, ruby-red flowers with a characteristic lighter-coloured, usually yellow or green, throat. The garden is given an exotic touch by the long, narrow petals, which resemble stars. With its mid- to late-summer blooms, 'Crimson Pirate' adds a pop of colour to the garden just as many other perennials are beginning to fade. This makes it a wonderful addition for long-lasting visual interest.
