Hosta Empress Wu
Availability: Out of stock
'Empress Wu' is a giant hosta, with massive green leaves forming a huge clump over time - great if you want to cover a large semi-shaded area under trees for example. The foliage is robust and has deep veining that gives a wonderful corrugated texture that makes Empress Wu stand out in any planting, be it a tropical themed garden or woodland scheme. In midsummer, the sizeable mound of foliage is topped off with sprays of soft violet flowers on stems up to 75cms tall. Clumps can reach up to 120-150cms across once fully established.
Supplied in approx 5 litre containers.
