A sedate, medium-sized hosta with oval, blue-green leaves, producing lavender coloured flowers in the summertime. A merit award winner in both USA and UK, this cultivar requires time to develop its mature shape, but once it does it will be a real favourite and talking point of the garden thanks to its exotic looks.
Growing best in sheltered, partially shaded areas of the garden, Hosta 'Halcyon' is a geat choice for covering large border areas, or under planting other exotic looking plants. It also makes a great addition to modern style or courtyard gardns as it works great in pots and small planters.
