Hosta Morning Star

The Hosta ‘Morning Star’ is an eye-catching plantain lily renowned for its striking foliage and reliable performance in shaded gardens. Its classic golden-yellow centres framed by deep green margins create a beautiful, sunlit effect even in the darkest corners. In summer, elegant lavender flower spikes rise above the foliage, adding height and attracting bees.

Thriving in partial to full shade, ‘Morning Star’ prefers moist, well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering during dry spells. Pair with Hellebrous orientalis or Dicentra spectabilis for a bold, textural combination that brings brightness to shaded spaces.
