Hosta 'Rainforest Sunrise'

The Hosta ‘Rainforest Sunrise’, also known as Plantain Lily, is a hardy, compact perennial that brightens shaded areas with its glowing, golden-yellow leaves edged in deep green. The heart-shaped, slightly cupped foliage develops richer tones as the season progresses, and in summer, elegant spikes of pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage, attracting bees and pollinators.

‘Rainforest Sunrise’ is a shade-loving shrub that prefers moist, well-drained soil and requires little maintenance once established. Its compact habit makes it ideal for borders, shaded rock gardens, or patio pots. Combine with Heuchera ‘Palace Purple’ or Ferns for an intense display that thrives in low-light garden spots.
