The gorgeous perennial Hosta 'Stained Glass' is highly valued for its vivid golden-yellow leaves with deep green borders. In parts of the garden that receive shade, the glossy and textured leaves provide a dramatic contrast. This variety is made even more appealing by the fragrant, lavender flowers it produces on tall scapes in late summer. It's ideal as a ground cover or for use in woodland areas and shade gardens.
Plant in well-drained, fertile soil in partial to full shade. Combine with astilbes or ferns to create a lush, textural garden arrangement. Savour the fragrant blooms and vivid foliage of 'Stained Glass' all through the growing season.
