Hosta 'Striptease'

Hosta 'Striptease', a popular species with unique variegated leaves, can add startling contrast and texture to your shaded spaces. Each leaf has a vivid chartreuse the core surrounded by lush green edges, with a thin white line separating the two, creating a striking, striped effect. In the summer, delicate lavender flower spikes grow above the leaves, drawing pollinators and providing a soft colour.

Grows well in moist well-drained soil with moderate to full shade. Mulch helps to retain moisture and deter slugs. Ideal for borders, forest gardens, and containers. Combine with ferns or dark-leaved heucheras to create a rich, tiered shade garden with lots of interest and variety.
