Hosta 'Sugar and Spice'

Product ref: P287009

Availability: Out of stock

Hosta 'Sugar and Spice' is a beautiful shade-loving perennial grown for its elegant variegated foliage and dependable garden performance. Large, heart-shaped leaves emerge in rich green tones with broad creamy-yellow margins that gradually soften to pale cream, creating a bright and refreshing display throughout the growing season. Its lush foliage forms attractive mounds that bring texture, contrast, and structure to shaded borders, woodland gardens, and patio containers.

During summer, slender stems rise above the foliage, carrying delicate lavender-lilac flowers that attract pollinators and add further seasonal interest. Reaching approximately 45–60cm in height and up to 90cm in spread, this medium-sized hosta makes an excellent feature plant beneath trees and shrubs or as part of layered shade planting schemes. Plant in partial to full shade in fertile, moisture-retentive soil and keep well watered during dry periods. Hostas thrive in cool, sheltered locations.

Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
