Hosta 'Summer Lovin'' is a variety of perennial that encapsulates the warmth and vibrancy of the summer season in its foliage. As one would expect from its sunny name, this plant has large, heart-shaped leaves of a bight green colour, with intense yellow undertones.
It thrives in partial to full shade, making it perfect for cottage gardens, shaded borders, or as ground cover. 'Summer Lovin' prefers a wet, well-drained soil high in organic matter. Its vivid foliage creates a fantastic contrast in gloomy regions of the garden. Water regularly to keep the soil wet, especially during dry spells. Remove wasted foliage as needed and clean up dead leaves at the end of the growing season. Applying a layer of mulch can help conserve soil moisture and discourage weeds.
