Hydrangea macrophylla 'Harlequin' - Large Flowered Mophead Hydrangea - XXXL Plants

Talk about flashy when it comes to colour, this Large Flowered Hydrangea has to be one of the finest mopheads available, seldom offered, as the florist and cut flower trade have often kept it a closely guarded secret to themselves. Across the bicolour flower heads, the colour develops into cool lilac and pale blue tones, while others develop splashes of deep pink to raspberry red radiating from the centre. The shades often blend and feather into each other, creating a mottled, watercolour effect. As the flowers mature, the pinks and reds become more pronounced, intensifying the contrast against the lighter background.
Our XXXL Heavy Grade Plants are robust, multi-branched and likely to produce at least 30 big heads of flowers. Cut to near ground level over winter each year, and they will then throw up masses of strong new stems and big blooms each summer. Our plants are very strong and ready to grow away with vigour.
