This Large Flowered Hydrangea has to be one of the finest mopheads available, seldom offered, as the florist and cut flower trade have often kept it a closely guarded secret to themselves - they want all the massive blooms for themselves! This Hydrangea will form a deciduous, hardy shrub with large, red shaded flowers in mid summer, each florets have a paler centre creating a glowing effect to the blooms. Hydrangeas grow well in partial shade and sun and will be a lovely addition to the garden or patio.

 

Our XXXL Heavy Grade Plants are really strong and robust, multi-branched and likely to produce at least 30 big heads of flowers. Cut to near ground level over winter each year, and they will then throw up masses of strong new stems and big blooms each summer. Our plants are very strong and ready to grow away with vigour.

 

These strong 'monster' plants are supplied in approx. 7-10 litre containers.

Gigantic

I was somewhat dazzled by the size of the plant that arrived in the morning. It was huge. It was obviously much bigger because it had been pruned and those branches were over an inch thick. A superb plant. I'm preparing a list of there's that I want.

Strong plant, very well packed to survive the transit in exceptionally high temperatures. Cut back but lots of new growth, can't wait to see the flowers.

Lovely healthy plant

Growing very well and has got more leaves and is very easy to look after. This plant was heavy in its pot when it arrived so its going to be great when the flowers appear. Red is a colour that I have not got in my garden can't wait to see the flowers.

Hydrangea magical ruby red

Just got this hydrangea delivered it's been cut back to ground level but has loads of new growth coming it's has a large root stock so well established should make a great plant I've put it in a pot twice as big and this needs alkaline soil to keep the flowers red not acidic like most hydrangeas do and that's out of a hydrangea growing book that I have so that's wot I've done
