Hydrangea macrophylla 'Snow Ball' is a show-stopping beauty, celebrated for its enormous, globe-shaped flower heads that bloom in creamy white and gradually age to soft, vintage tones. These mophead blooms can reach up to 10 inches across, held aloft on sturdy stems above lush, deep green foliage. Flowering from early summer through late autumn, this hydrangea offers months of spectacular color and texture. Cut to near ground level over winter each year, and they will then throw up masses of strong new stems and big blooms each summer. To maintain its shape and encourage vigorous blooming, prune lightly after flowering and keep soil consistently moist.
