Wow! These plants are monsters, and can be expected to throw out up to 30 strong flower heads during their first flowering season in your garden. A jaw-dropping Hydrangea variety with huge blue  flowers, often found in high class florist bouquets, it has massive blooms up to the size of a football. Cut to near ground level over winter each year, and they will then throw up masses of strong new stems and big blooms each summer. Our plants are very strong and ready to grow away with vigour.

Hydrangeas put on good amounts of healthy growth each year and quickly establish, and produce massive, bright flower clusters even when planted in a dull, shady spot. You can also use them as cut or dried flowers too. Use in beds and borders or patio planters. Like all our hardy plants, this is covered by our 5 year guarantee.

Excited to see the flowers emerge

Plant delivered slightly later than expected because of two very close bank holidays. However, the plant looks healthy and I am looking forward to seeing blooms in due course. I had a couple of queries after I placed my order and they were dealt with very efficiently.

Giant blue mopheads - a 2024 disaster!!!

I purchased two of these at £24.99 each in April. I also purchased two 40cms olive planters from you to create a special feature in my blue and yellow-themed front garden. On arrival it was immediately obvious that these were rather large, old plants, as described, but they were in good condition and already breaking into leaf. Now after almost 4 months of regular TLC, in a pot mixture of my own compost, plus top soil and hort.sand, regular watering with liquid ericaceous feed the plants have grown on well but only one flowering head has been produced and this is pink, not a hint of blue. I can send you photos from receipt of plants to situation as of today as described.
