Hydrangea serrata Dare Devil

This Dare Devil Hydrangea is a new Super Hero for your garden! It combines dark, almost black foliage with intense pink flowers in neutral soil, or striking purple in an acid one, which in autumn turn to fiery red - both the foliage and the flowers.

The fabulous, flattened heads of dark, distinctive pink lace-cap flowers that age through to crimson, all above attractive dark bronze-black foliage make thi unique new Hydrangea a must for any garden. The foliage colouration alone makes this Dare Devil a stunning centre piece in any display. Combined with the summer blooming from it is simply fabulous. This lovely, lacecap hydrangea is perfect for a mixed border and will reach around 60cms tall, with a width of around a metre. Flourishing in sun or partial shade. 

Very floriferous and rustic, it will create superb contrasts with other hydrangeas or used in association with perennials. At the end of flowering, its dried flowers of a deep dark red keep their colour and hold throughout the winter. They will make beautiful dry bouquets. Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
