Hydrangea serrata Preziosa

This beautiful deciduous shrub gives you a range of colours throughout the year; the new growth comes in bronze in the spring, maturing into green for the summer before turning red for the autumn. As well as the various colours of the foliage, this plant gives you gorgeous rose-pink clusters of flowers in the late summer and early autumn. The flowers darken to a reddish-purple with age.

This is a versatile plant; it will grow in any aspect and does not mind if its sheltered or exposed. It will enjoy any soil type besides chalky, as lonng as it is well-drained and kept moist. As with most hydrangeas, this plant will thrive in full sun or partial shade.
