Product ref: T21560

Availability: Out of stock

Commonly known as Crape Myrtle due to its crinkly petals that resemble crepe paper, this standard tree is the perfect addition of summer and autumn colour to your garden. Indica has beautiful showy flowers blooming in conical clusters of white, purple, or pink which bloom from mid-summer to mid-autumn. This deciduous tree has lovely peeling bark and dark green foliage which initially emerges a reddish bronze and falls off in winter.

This is a larger growing type that will form an attractive large shrub or small tree, they are quickly gaining popularity as a great way to add nonstop colour to small spaces and container gardens, especially in hot sunny positions. Pruned into a standard of approximately 170cms tall, this small tree can be kept at a reasonable height.

Place this versatile tree in a bright area as it prefers full sun and shelter it from cold winds. It will grow nicely in any soil type apart from clay as it requires well-draining soil and once established it can tolerate dry conditions.

Supplies in approx. 10 litre containers.
