Large 6-7ft Climber - Clematis montana Broughton Star

Clematis Broughton Star is one of the most delightful forms of montana Clematis, boasting double and semi-double flowers. Vigorous in growth, it is not perhaps as sizeable at maturity as other forms of Clematis montana, yet remain fantastic for covering anything from an arch or old wall to pergolas and trellis.

As an added bonus, blooms of this deciduous climber are scented, they can be expected to appear from Spring in to early Summer. Foliage emerges as young bronze-tinted leaves that transition to rich green, beautifully offsetting the deep pink-veined fllowers.
